Welcome to the website of Charles Gallen Irish Linen. This is our first venture into the e commerce environment, and celebrates our third century in the Irish Linen business.

 

The company bears the name of the first owner, who purchased what was then called the Drogheda Linen Company, in 1870. The firm remains in the hands of the Gallen family today. Above, an old letterhead depicts how our mill operated in the early 1900's and, although production machinery and methods have changed beyond recognition in the meantime, the end product continues to be the world's finest Linen.

 

Today we supply Pure Irish Linen to select stores, both in Ireland, and other locations where the quality of Irish Linen is admired and appreciated. Our Cloths cover the tables of Irish Embassies worldwide, and our pure Irish Linen sheets and pillowcases grace the beds of fine homes and exceptional hotels.

 

Although our main products remain the same as we have traditionally sold, we are constantly changing and adding to our collection of quality textile giftware.
